Lauren Paige Woulard is a talented publicist and communications executive, with a passion for diversity in the entertainment industry, women empowerment and multicultural marketing. Currently, she serves as Director, Communications at Paramount within MTV Entertainment Studios, which houses the following brands: MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Pop TV, Smithsonian Channel, TV Land, CMT and Logo.
Prior to joining Paramount, she held leadership roles at leading entertainment PR agencies such as: The Chamber Group, One/35 Agency, Allied Global Marketing and more. Her resume includes creating and executing PR campaigns for clients such as OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, Amazon Studios, Warner Bros., Disney, Netflix, 20th Century Fox, FX Networks, FOX Entertainment,
NBCUniversal, etc. She has also cultivated quite an extensive knowledge of managing Tentpole events and festivals, having led and been a part of the core teams for Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), BET Awards, BET Experience, ComplexCon, Essence Music Festival, Gyrl Wonder Leadership Academy, ColorComm Conference, BET Super Bowl Gospel and NBA Allstar
Weekend. Before her work in the world of Film & TV, she led talent and media relations for Procter & Gamble’s’My Black is Beautiful’ program which included managing publicity for their largest partnerships, such as Essence Music Festival and Cincinnati Music Festival. Her career began as a luxury fashion and beauty publicist, working with legendary fashion houses Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana- all the by the age of 25. In addition to her PR work, she lends her time to her mentor the next generation of media professionals through speaking engagements and industry organizations. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Howard University and is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been featured on Bravo’s Blood, Sweat & Heels, where she worked alongside her mentor, Style Expert Daisy Lewellyn who lost her battle with cancer in April 2016.
